Since changing my name from HoodedRat/Hoody to Marbas recently, and using the line 'So not a bear' under my avatar, the unwanted PMs, have ceased. The name change worked. ..|

Therefore, even though I know that a lot of people preferred it, I have no intention of re-verting to my former name(s). I just thought I'd post this here rather than keep sending messages to all those who keep asking if/when I am going to change it back: I'm not; you'll just have to get used to Marbas.

When talking with Tony about you I usually say this.

Me: "Marbas sent me a PM last night"

Tony: "Marbas? Huh?"

Me: *Sigh* "HOODY!"

Tony: "Ohhhhh"

So now I'll have you use Hoody when I want to talk with Tony about you. :)

So are you saying people use to PM you because they think you were bear?

Yep. I used to get loads of PMs from guys who just saw my avatar pic (and the previous one) and assumed that I was 6ft plus, muscley, hairy, and bearish. But I'm not; I'm 5ft 7, skinny (apart from the incipient beer-gut), and not hairy at all (much though I'd love to be) ...and the Hoody name just led to lots of PMs from foreskin fetishists. #-o

Still, at least using the name Marbas hasn't resulted in a flood of PMs from fellow Demonolators. (*@*)

I always thought you looked elfish, but I'm relatively new here and never saw your previous name. I thought "So not a bear" had something to do with how many posts you had made - I'm still not clear on a lot of things here.
