We're at our cabin for the last time this summer. We just ate Chinese takeout...yum....not. The new puppy is chewing an elk horn or some such and all is well!

Stayed in and watched Legends of the Canyon on Belgian television. Finished a bottle of red wine and had two Martinis. Still somewhat drunk.

I have just retired and therefore for the first time in many years I am free to go out on a Friday night.

I am nipping across the road for dinner in a restaurant; basically because I have no means to cook at my flat.

I have justed returned home from my local taverna where for a change I ate alone.....chicken rapped in bacon with side salad, and sufficient red wine to destroy any unwanted bacteria.....

The restaurant that I went to is just across the street from my front door. I too had some pleasant red wine to accompany veal and fries in a really nice sauce followed my an orange flavoured chocolate mousse.

No, thank God.

We were out for dinner last night and will be out tomorrow and Sunday...so it is just catching up on recorded shows and eating leftovers of our terrific Tibetan meal from last night.

only two more weeks of a special project at work, then I'll have my fridays and weekends back.

avoiding all shopping. going out for indian tonight and possibly out.

But my sister and b-in-law are arriving in the evening...after dinner fortunately....to take advantage of our place to sleep-over.

So we will have to entertain....as in listen to stories about my g-nephew over a bottle of good red wine.

After today and having six more days of work ahead of me I will be relaxing full time. Won't be going out much until next Friday.
