Well, it's Friday night. Are YOU going out???

The hubby and I went to "Nine" for happy hour and met up with about 20 friends. We had a great time, great drinks, and are now home and ready for bed. Got a long day tomorrow with a run, wedding (two lesbian friends) and then "Miss Adams Morgan" drag event!

I went to my mother in laws tonight.....not really date night, but we had fun...they told 25 year old jokes.
 
with the nascar race in my town this weekend? HELL NO. its bad enough that the one hang out is rather crappy anyway, but during race weekend, they jack up the price even more and it gets taken over by drunk race fans...
 
No, we had 2 really great friends over (a gay couple) from sorta out of town.

My bf made an awesome dinner, and I played Vanna White by assisting. Well, I cooked the salmon (he seasoned it) and I made the from-scratch brownies with Ghirardelli cocoa powder, too.

5 hours of Great conversations about friends, love, history, growing up gay, Vespas, Harley Davidsons, and Dry Fly gin and vodka.
 
Made dinner and dessert for my guy. Had a great night... if you know what I mean. :sex:

I came in from work last night and am going to work tonight. Going out tomorrow to make up for it.
 
I just finished a twelve hour shift and boy are my feet sore!

I would, except I also have work tomorrow morning, and I'll probably try to stay on for another twelve hours...

its a holiday weekend so staying in tonight to rest up for fun the next 3 days.

Just came in from going out - now I gotta finish my shirt an get my ugly rest for pride tomorrow.
 
I went out with the board with which I was meeting all day; it took 2 hours to get 12 miles in LA. I thought about going into WeHo but decided I needed to be up early for my flight and I'd likely just be getting home if traffic persisted!

So I got home about 11 from dinner in Long Beach....and am now home with the hubby so tonight we're going out, have a drink, and then um....well...don't knock on the door...
