Unfortunately I work evenings. Wednesday and Thursday are my 'weekend'.
 
staying in tonight, but my friends are coming over after work for pizza, beer, cards, and discussing/planning our group trip to Vegas in the fall.

nope, I've never been to Vegas.

I hate group trips if I'm the one who has to do all the planning, but I think that this will be a lot more free-form (we're all going to stay at the same hotel, but each individual/couple will likely handle booking their own rooms, getting their own plane tickets, etc, since we're not a large enough group to qualify for any kind of discounts)

It was more so the planning, organizing, booking, PAYING aspects I was thinking of than the specific destination.
 
This afternoon I went to the Cleveland International Film Festival and saw "Slingshot" a movie about the inventor of the Segway, Dean Kamen, who has now invented a water purification machine for small developing communities. It was really interesting. I'm home tonight, but will see three more movies tomorrow.
 
I was at an animation screening (Ann Arbor Film Festival) with two friends - one lives locally, one lives 40 miles away and came in for the evening. The one who came 40 miles, Friday was the 50th anniversary of us first meeting each other! My first friendship (in which I've consistently stayed in touch) to hit that half-century mark. He's a straight guy.

Earlier, before the local friend joined us, we went to a vegan Indian buffet a couple blocks away. Indian food has probably perfected vegetarian/vegan cooking more than any other cuisine in the world, certainly more than any other major one.
 
Neighbours bar is soooo old I fear collapse !!! So no go for glitter vs glow...but am having choco martinis at an undisclosed location in 98112.
 
Nope, I live in NJ now and I have no transportation now. Have to wait a month to be able to take my driving test, counting down the minutes.
 
Briefly out for dinner not long after arriving in this Capital. Traveling with Daniel formerly a/k/a NineOfClubs here.

Salad with many ingredients; "Patagonian toothfish" (a whitefish similar to cod); apple upside-down pie...at DUETO in Montevideo, Uruguay. The fish was topped with an unusual style of fried potatoes, sort of like "potato chip strips" but homemade...the bacon in the salad was to die for.

There will very likely be much walking around all over the place the next few days.
