My hair is just too blasted straight, it won't hold. I was trying to 'body' it up, but it's not taking.

lol, well, you know, just trying something different. I've always hated how straight my hair is, so I got brave and tried to do something about it. But it's falling right the frick out of there.

Straight hair looks good on some people and from your pics in your gallery, it looks really good on you, so don't bother with perm work. Seems to be an ongoing saga from one generation to another, but those with straight hair want curly or wavey, those with wavey or curly hair want straight.

Mine, though thinning, was always wavey and especially has a mind of its own in high humidity. Over the years I have been told enough it looks great, so have learned to say to heck with it and wear it as I want and allow it to do what it wants. One less fuss point to contend with.
