Wow, when I search Riverrick on Boardtracker it lists the thread I just started today! Spooky!
 
I had nothing on boardtracker. Google got me a lot of random Chinese sites...and my personal blog! Of course I knew it wouldn't stay personal online, but it's weird to see it on google.
 
That's really really weird.

I just searched for my name on that site, and nothing came up. So, I just Googled my name and the link to boardtracker.com was the first thing that popped up! Creepy stuff.
 
I can't find anything on boardtracker, but I know that I'm on Google. I wonder if these things exist so employers can find out the personal things about their employees?

All that showed up on Boardtracker for me was Happy Birthday from Mike! Thank you Mike !
However Google revealed a lot more :mad:

So apparently I've fallen through the cracks of "Big Brother's" system...
 
Thats freaky , quite unnerving, maybe we should cover our computers with aliminium foil so they cant spy on us lol , ive watched to many tv shows that has the token wack guy who thinks the gov is watching them lol

They weren't created for that, but employers gladly make use of Google et al to find out as much as they can of their employees' private lives. And yes, data from the net has been used in interviews and reviews.
