Werid input problem

It's kinda hard to describe the problem, but I'll try.

When I hold a key down, it only work for a short time and then nothing happen.

For example: If I were to hold the left arrow button for 10 sec, it only move couple of space to the left . The cursor does not move left continuously and will stop after a second or so. It also lags my computer (like if I were to hold the key down and my mp3 is playing, the song stutters - and my computer isn't old, it's new ) .

Does anyone know what's wrong with my computer? :S

so why don't you tell us the solution?

Went to Control Panel > Keyboard > Speed tab and changed the repeat rate from fast to slow.

Oh well.. it work now
