I would watch the show that came after AFV and they would show the winner (which always seemed to be a baby or a pet). I thought about looking at funniest video, but I never got around to it
 
I've never seen the American show, but it sounds similar to It'll be Alright on the Night in the UK. They show "funny" videos sent in by members of the public. Complete shite.
 
I love AFV watching people make complete idiots out of them selves! I will agree that yes kids and dogs make up like 99.98% of the winners it is EXTREMELY RARE for anything else to win! But I would much much much rather watch AFV than Survivor, keeping up with the kartrashians, big brother, american idol, "real housewives" of anything, Dance moms ANY iteration of the bachelor et all!

I agree with ShadowCat. Show makes laugh. Although I foresee a lot of people with future back and spine issues.
 
Its Sunday and I watched some of AFV. There are some great moments but a lot of filler of dull videos

The show has been on for years. I miss Emmy-winning Tom Bergeron as host. (No, Tom didn't win his Emmy for AFHV! He won for hosting Hollywood Squares.)
 
I watched it in its first year when they were genuinely funny. Then everybody looking for their 15 minutes started faking their videos. Thank goodness for laugh tracks.
