How old are you?? When I finally turned 21 I suddenly felt like a young adult (even though I still watch cartoons & Disney movies to this day).....

I'm an old curmudgeon. I've been so for years. I never really felt like a kid. Sometimes I act like one, but really never get the full effect.

I have a harder time remembering when i felt like a kid let alone trying to remember when i stopped feeling like one.. When i was young adults always said i acted more like an adult then i shouldve...

When I came out of Viet Nam in 1970 I was 22 and felt like 40. Since that time I have regained much of my sparkle for life, but never felt like a teen again. Not that I was sad at its passing, but am happy to have once again been able to connect to my humor and can laugh at myself. Life is still a wonder and it is nearly all good.

Well, it seems that people are always trying to get their "young-ones" to grow up and oft you can hear the cheer from the 'Rents to "Grow-Up"!

I believe that a young man or young woman has to live through certain periods of trial and error, where they are allowed to make mistakes under the leadership of their parents....

I think this is the time during teen adolescent years and even into the college age where the "young-uns" are allowed a few indescretions, a "free-pass" or something of that nature, where mistakes are allowed.......because this is a time of riding the bike with training wheels on it!

However, repeats of mistakes or going past GO without getting $200.00 or a speeding ticket .........is NOT allowed! lol

Oh heck! I guess what I mean is that children are allowed to be children; but when they start making adult-style mistakes, the "freebies" are alas gone forever!

So?

Grow up already!(*8*) (*8*)

im 18 and im as jaded as a 40 year old. its rather sad :(

Because of my Social Anxiety I haven't experienced much of a life, and because of this I still act and feel like a 15 year old, or.. well..18 here;) .

A part of me is always going to feel like a kid. I keep the same child-like spirit no matter how old I get.

Mine was a few days ago - I was on the metro platform with a girl from work who looks really young for her age, and it was freezing. I joked about there being a headline in the paper tomorrow saying, "Two youths found frozen to death at Pelaw metro station" and she said, "Conor....I'm 29....." and I said, "Shit, yeah, sorry..........actually! I'm 24! I'm not really considered a 'youth'." and that's when I realised the headline would say "A man and woman found frozen to death..."

I'm still a big kid in some ways

Too many Fangtastic's. They'll rot your teeth!

I still have my days where I act like a twelve year old. Working with teens affects your actions some days.

Does watching Family Guy and playing video games constitute me as a kid? Maybe more of a geek, lol.

I still feel like a teen because i am, but not for much longer :-(

but i also still feel like a kid because i do stupid things and laugh at everything

When I turned 22 and graduated from college and started paying for ALL of my life expenses.

I'm 23 but at times I feel like I've got so much problems that makes me think I'm way over 40! But heck, I'd still like to think of myself as still a little kid, at heart!
