I hear you about Mariah. I love her but the collabos with the rappers I can't deal with. In my opinion her best album was Emotions. She sang her a$$ off on that album. I wish Xtina would put out another album. Back2Basics was awesome!

I was most looking forward to Ann Wilson's new cd, but the wait is over 'cuz it came out yesterday!! Well worth the wait.

I'll also agree with Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston and Missy Elliott! And, Dariusb...if you liked the progression from Kelly Clarkson's Thankful to Breakaway, I'd really recommend My December--it really takes the next step away from pop into a more rock sound.

I'm looking forward to the new album from Anastacia, the working title is something like In My Vision, but it probably won't be and I doubt it'll get a release in America. The album should get a release no later than early 2008!

Also -

Shania Twain (Has mentioned that she's recording and an album will probably be done sometime in 2008, mabye even sooner)
KT Tunstall - ('Hold On' is starting to grow on me!)
Amy Studt - (UK artist, who was successful between 2001-2004 and will be releasing new stuff next year!)
 
M.I.A. - can't wait to hear it.
PJ Harvey - can't wait to hear it. I hope she performs in Denver this year! I have always wanted to see her live.
Annie Lennox - Just read about her new album - what a surprise, thought she was finished with recording. Still deciding whether to buy a ticket for her performance in Denver later this month
 
I'm looking forward to a new DMB album next year. But who knows if that will actually happen or not?? They were supposed to have one out in '06, then delayed to '07, and now it's been put on hold indefinitely I guess. *fingers crossed*

I'm trully excited to see what she comes out with. By her standards, I bet it'll be amazing... Anyone else here like her?

That's probably the only one I'm looking forward to. Unless Corinne Bailey Rae is working on something.

Yeah, I'd think it'd be interesting to hear a Music Box Part 2 because she'll act girl-next-door all over again...the phony witch, no I'm only kidding you guys!

Other albums I'm looking forward to is Shania Twain's and Celine Dion's.

I gotta say, those SNL skits of the three of them from the late '90s was soooo hilarious!
