checking out JUB. Not much going on in Hot Topics, Just relaxing on my day off and time to move on to playing online poker.
 
I am fucking exhausted today.

Three out of office meetings...one to discuss a new project, two to discuss inherited projects with my associates and clients.

I now have all the projects on my back....all 15 of them. And I touched 10 of them in one way or another today

When I was supposed to be moving toward retirement.

Working harder not smarter.
 
Just got back from my morning walk. I was going to start deleting emails, but I think that I will run to the post office to mail some checks instead. Yesterday we found out that two of our neighbors died within 2 days of each other. In my walk I saw and said hi to a few neighbors and shared the information.

Sorry to hear of the loss of your brother after having to deal with your ex leaving you.
 
Tuckered again...a never ending barrage of things to process and get out the door without a senior associate to help.

I actually feel sorriest for my partner...who I had hoped to retire to only very occasional assistance and instead he is being pressed into more than full time.
 
Enjoying a quiet Saturday.

I have been dealing with thrombosis in my left leg this week and it has been pretty painful, so I wasn't much up for the heat and working in the garden today.

Just up from a nap with the cats.
 
Left wondering how long it will be before my political commentary here renders me persona non grata here.

Sigh... At least, I can treasure the memories of the last 4.5 years...
