Attention What are you doing at the moment? 2024-25

Up early because of the full wolf moon and our friends the coyotes in the west fields.

Just finished the filling for a small batch of Pork Pierogies and a big batch for stuffed cabbage rolls.
 
Just watched Cutting to the Truth, the 2020 documentary by Anthony DeMaria, nephew of Jay Sebring, one of the murdered victims in the Tate-Bianca killings.

He did quite a bit to restore his uncle's name as a shaper of the 1960's and after. He correctly refuted tabloid journalism in Time and other magazines who defamed his uncle in the year before the Manson Family was identified as the killers.

That said, he's too close to the victim to make objective journalism. A very close party to Sebring believed he was in fact a customer of Manson's drug sales, and that there was a problem with one that resulted in Manson sending his followers to kill him. This is directly in contradiction to the alleged race war theory.

Like so many things from the 1960's, we're never going to know.

What is undeniably true is that Sebring died trying to rush the killer who had the gun, in an attempt to save Tate and her baby. He should be justly honored for that sacrifice. He was shot, stomped in the face, and stabbed to death as a result. His corpse was hung. Tate was hung while still alive. Their killers should have been fed to dogs.
 
Enjoying some red wine before dinner after the cooking events today.

Unfortunately I am missing my naptime from this afternoon because I ended up having to put together a whole new batch of Pierogie dough after finding that the ledftovers from last week had sprung mold.

Such a waste of a valuable nap! You should have just considered the moldy dough to be dough with penicillin upgrade added! :lol:
 
Washing a load of sheets. Once again. If I could just quit needing to sleep I could cut out needing to wash sheets!
 
Finished making the stuffed cabbage. It is now in the oven...with the leftovers we will have two patties, with chopped cabbage and pierogies for dinner tonight.

Next I have to have a short meeting with the aroborist before they go back to the bush to review the health of the beeches and then a ZOOM to further the planning of our meet-up with friends in Maine in early June.

Doing the laundry after a fine nap today.

I feel like I caught up on some much needed sleep.
 
In bed with my beloved in the south of France, where we retired after the biggest safe sex marathon in the sauna in ages.

He's sleeping. Sadly still not satisfied myself.

Trying to think of a low cal snack. All I came up with is cucumber sticks with some vinaigrette.
 
Doing my last hour of work at home...and feeding my kitties snacks. It is fairly mild at 0c right now and I almost want to take my glass of red wine out onto the terrace and sit in the sun.

That is almost no cal....good for you. Sounds good actually....maybe with a nice balsamic?

They would also be good with sour cream. :D
