Now time to ignore all the chores that didn't get done on our chore day....

I found out those collapsible garden hoses don’t work for draining a hot water tank. This is one time I’m glad I only have a 40 gallon tank. 1 gallon at a time

^It might be better to look for shirtless runners. Shirtless runner season is so short!

Speaking of that, I had a shirtless runner run past me yesterday. It occurred to me that it was very possible he had crossed the intersection I was heading to. If only I'd been there a bit sooner, I could perhaps have seen him across the street, while we waited for the light to change. As it was, he was going so fast I couldn't really see much past "no shirt." Oh, well--there will be more of such runners in the coming months.

We have seen some pretty scrumptious half naked runnners this week....

Now we are parked at the midpoint of our trip back home...getting ready to go down for a lovely dinner and some fine wine and then have a good night's sleep in our favourite suite at the inn after our 7 hour drive.

Getting up and about to make some puff pastry into "danishes" although that's not danish dough.

Then, out to cut some brush and do a bit of yard maintenance, maybe start getting the pool drained to have the liner replaced.
