If you are paying nothing to live in your parents' home, I think it is a reasonable expectation that you will contribute in other ways. And be grateful that you are able.

Just set up a new TV in the den since my old one was unable to receive digital channels on the air. Tiring.

Now watching The King's Speech again. Dying laughing at the scene where the king and queen are inadvertently discovered in the parlor of the speech therapist, and the therapist's wife's utter shock. No doubt exaggerated for comic effect, if not entirely fictional, but hilarious. Great scene.

omg Haven't had hominy in way too long...I will make up a batch for breakfast and like mine with grated cheese, a little butter and sometimes some chiles in adobo for breakfast.

I know what that is! We had that as a kid. I thought it grew in a tin can?? Kinda white'ish or maybe white and yellow? Kinda looks similar to chickpeas/garbanzo beans. I have no idea how you "make" it. I haven't looked it up yet in case you are speaking of something different.
