What are you doing right now?

Got some news this afternoon that an old acquaintance died this morning. Although we have been only occasionally in contact for many years, she had called just a few weeks ago and I found out her husband, who I also knew, had died in March. Now her son, who I never met, called to tell me his mother just died. I am a little depressed.

Two wonderful people. Her partner does beautiful calligraphy and leaves me lovely notes on my door.

Cleaning and laundry day . Such a humid crappy out anyway.

Fuck me. Spent the day planting trees and had no idea that the oaks we ordered would come with a 12" to 18" tap root.

Most of the volunteers caved shortly after lunch and I have to hire people to come and plant the last 300 or so.

So I am enjoying a chilled (I mean really chilled) Chardonnay.
