Surprisingly the birds didn't come around for them this season. We are only a few block's from the Passaic River so anything edible we get all kinds of birds fighting over whatever it is.

Growing up our backyard backed up to farmlands( No Ali not in the 1930s :roll:) But in the 70s and early 80s

The farm was outlined in Mulberry trees both white and purple. A neighbor who we learned made wine and would bring my Dad a bottle once in a while.

We later learned when he was drunk,he would beat his dog with a broom handle.

A beautiful Alaskan husky named Big Al :(
 
Stupid things.

We don't have whole house air conditioning but I have a room air conditioner in my bedroom. Yesterday it didn't seem to have much cooling effect in my room. I decided that the outside hose vent to push the hot air outside must have a leak, so this morning before turning it on I checked it out and found that we had closed the window over the outside of the vent the other day because it was storming and I forgot to re-open the window so it could vent outside and it was blowing both cold and warm air into my room.

Also, I had ordered 3 books from Amazon and they said that all three would be delivered this Thursday. This morning I had an email saying that 2 of them would be delivered today, Wednesday. Farther down my emails I had another saying that they would deliver 1 book today, Wednesday. Apparently all 3 will be delivered today, but couldn't they have combined them into one shipment instead of splitting them into two?
