Trying to get all the way through an episode of Nova about supposed new theories of the Big Bang.

It looks like little more than warmed over Hubble chatter, with drawn out vapid attempts to be awe-inspiring to tweens.

The mini-series on this theme is little more than a fumbling attempt to showcase women and minorities, who are certainly part of the star chasers, but are almost exclusively featured way out of proportion to their role in the science.

I do hope minorities and women will get more opportunities in the hard sciences, but this comes off about as significant as having George Takei read "Horton Hears a Who".

I kinda want to hear the whole story! Did he lose his previous car? How did you surprise him and how did it go?

No.He just had a very old car. He had problems with spine surgery after a hiking accident that prevented him from doing his normal job in construction. He was very surprised and emotional. I have 2 nephews who are like the kids I never had.
