I’d like to get up and make some soup and grilled cheese but I have 2 sleeping cats on my lap.

Getting ready to go back out and rake MORE piles of leaves onto a tarp to drag them down to the low areas near the creek to compost. Not the worst job in the world, but not inspiring.

Kicked the cats off my lap and made tomato soup and a grilled cheese with white American cheese. Much tastier, also use mayonnaise instead of butter. So crispy.

Did my annual cutting back of what remains of my Australian pine hedge, so they won't grow into full-fledged trees. Also installed a new hand held shower head.

Tis the season. I cut back the large crape myrtle at the corner of the walk, and cut back the butterfly bushes severely. Gathered the piles of limbs from the year and burned them in a bonfire with rain expected.

This morning, baking biscuits and made sausage gravy. Haven't done that in years. An humble but nostalgic breakfast.

I wanted to make cheese on toast but my toaster isnt working. You toast the bread and then put cheese on it. Then you place it under the broiler or in a small toaster oven

And Im researching dumbbells. I think I might buy these ones. It has a connector so you can turn it into a barbell. Im thinking of the $119 set

11:51 AM. In bed because the boss lady rescheduled twice to 1:00 PM. Got up at 4:00 AM this morning. Might have easily slept until 8:00 PM.
