I spent Tuesday afternoon in the Emerg. Dept., had to go for tests yesterday around a full day of meetings and then out for dinner last night.

I need a day off.

And when I say retire, that means hire a full-time farm hand to plant trees and clear brush and take care of the property. Sit on the porch and sip a nice Scotch and read a good book

Right now I am browsing on the computer, but this morning I woke up early, after 6, and couldn't fall back asleep because my nose was blocked so I got up after 7. The city was snow plowing our driveway at 7:18 AM! I figured for breakfast I would make 1 strip of bacon and finish the left over scrambled egg we had from French toast yesterday. We had 4 strips of bacon left in the package and as I tried to get 1 strip out all 4 slipped out and fell on the floor. I didn't want to throw out 4 strips of bacon so I figured if I fried them that would sterilize them. So I fried all of them. It is cold out and we have 4 or 5 inches of snow so I have just gotten back from walking in the mall.
