Attention What are you having for dinner?

I have an ugly cold and cough, so I'm getting some chicken rice soup from the Chinese takeout around the corner and adding big spoonfuls of ginger and garlic, plus some lime juice and piri-piri sauce.

No broccoli (or cauliflower) for me. My next choice would be Cashew Chicken. The taste of broccoli and cauliflower is just OK but the texture whether soft or tough is my problem.

Bean and ham soup tonight with cornbread.

Soup sounds good.

I recently made Chicken and Broccoli with a hint of toasted sesame oil. Turned out good and I was able to cook the broccoli slightly more than the restaurant does. Usually the broccoli is pretty much raw.
 
I'm making slow cooker chili...tomorrow, ribs and chicken on the big green egg......
