Attention What are you having for dinner?

Amy's Black Bean Tamale Verde frozen dinner. (How fitting to have a frozen dinner on a night when I'm feeling half frozen inside, thanks to the winter cold!)

Blackened Salmon with fried artichoke hearts and fingerling potatoes.

There's nothing as satisfying as cereal when that's what you want.

And I still buy shredded wheat or mini-wheats sometimes.
My go-to cereals for 10 years or more included Malt-O-Meal (frosted) Spooners mixed with a package of Quaker Oat Squares. That's all I ate all those years. I gave up cereal 4 or 5 years ago when I became diabetic. I'm no longer diabetic, but due to the calories i don't eat cereal anymore.

Worst meal at a restaurant in 20 years. Worst dining experience in a place that is supposed to be a 'good' restaurant in probably 40 years or longer.

I haven't set foot in a restaurant in several years. Not precisely planned--but I don't eat out alone, and there is has been no opportunity to have a meal out with someone else.

But I've heard rumbles/complaints about more people having bad experiences now than was the case a few years ago. Doesn't really make me eager to go near a restaurant. If I want to eat bad cooking, I can eat my own--which is cheaper than a restaurant!

We like those Shady Brook farms turkey sausages. The spicy ones. So I made eggs over medium with turkey sausage and some quick hash browns and whole wheat toast.

Was good.
