  • Hi Guest - Did you know?

Attention What are you having for dinner?

Another round of soup, although the work of making it was done by Amy's. All I can to do was open the can, pour the soup into a pan, and heat. (I used to just microwave soup in a bowl, but the microwave went to the kitchen in the sky a few months ago. )

I had some whole wheat bread and a salad to go along with it.

Tonight's dinner will be incredible.

Frosted mini wheats.
Save some for us. Spent the day yesterday in Emerg and have no interest or energy to cook...and my partner was also trained and work as a chef and in culinary arts.....mmmmmm mini wheats.

Wonder what they would be like dipped in peanut butter?

I’m doing teriyaki chicken thighs in the instapot. It was so good earlier in the week. This time I’m adding in the carrots and cauliflower instead of cooking them on the side.

Lol

Good dipped in a little peanut butter. And melted chocolate. I just enjoy the crunch sometimes with milk on the side.

What's the recipe for that? Do you just dump in the teriyaki sauce, or.....?
Sauté 6 thighs 3 minutes a side to brown. Then 1 cup of teriyaki sauce, 1/2 bbq sauce 1/4 cup water, soy sauce to taste. I add a half a chopped onion and a few cloves of minced garlic. Pressure cook for 25 minutes.

I used to very occasionally check out with a box of Cheese Ritz and a jar of Peanut butter while zoning in front of the TV.

But I was 22 at the time.

Thanks! I desperately need new ways to cook cauliflower and teriyaki looks delish.

So tonight's dinner of panko crusted fish filets didn't happen because we are not doing well today as a team when it comes to wanting to eat.

Instead...2 eggs each, microwaved in the perfect individual dishes with 1/2 tsp of butter (covered) with yoghurt tub lids for 32 seconds and served on a slice of homemade rich white bread toast.

Pure comfort nursery food.

It was cold and dark and threatening to rain all day...

So I went for pizza in front of the TV.
