Attention What are you having for dinner?

I grilled a New York strip. Of course I over cooked it. I always do. But not to the point of char when the grill catches on fire and takes "flame kissed" to extremes.

I gave it some salt and pepper and a pat of butter. A little bit of Heinz57 on the side as a dip.

The strip of fat mostly fell off. I cut that up and with the gristly parts made two dogs very happy at their supper time.

Pretty good supper. I totally spaced french fries in the air fryer.

Chinese Chicken Salad. Costco sells a "kit" where all you need to add is lettuce - all the other parts of the salad are in the kit.

"black bean pasta" ??
I buy that Banzai pasta once in a while made from chick pea flour. Not bad.

I ordered a sausage pizza last night from a place that has had great food for many years.

The delivery guy handed me the pizza and it felt like there was two bricks in the box. Heavy as hell. Turns out there had to be 3 pounds of cheese on it. Middle crust paper thin and edge crust too chared. Sausage was tiny circles and no Italian flavor whatsoever. No fennel. Tasted like breakfast sausage.

Cheese was like a rubber tire. Had two slices and each bite took me 5 minutes to chew. What a mess. I want my 30 dollars back. Blech.

Thanks everyone for the replies. :)

A few months ago, chickpea pasta was a staple item. Not so much for having a pasta-type dinner (although sometimes it'd get used that way), but I'd use it for things like soup.

I've had Amy's Roasted Sweet Potato and Coconut Curry Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday this week. I probably will have it Friday, too.

I'm sure it's just a coincidence that it was on sale as a really good clearance special at the store.

Salmon with wild rice and a julienne of veg.

9 at night on a Sunday - on my way home - starving - give in to temptation.

Double quarter pounder with cheese, large fries, strawberry shake.

Breakfast. Didn't have breakfast in a while.

My Nephew and his wife were over and cooked breakfast for me.

3 over medium eggs.
Homefries
Bacon and wheat toast with strawberry jam.

I sat in my recliner and they served me. Nice switch. :)

Grilled some pork chops - rice - salad - apple sauce. Peter Brady taught me you always have apple sauce with pork chops.

Monthly run to NH to pick up cigarettes. Come back home, chinese food at my favorite place in Medford.

I had a Taylor ham with pepper jack cheese on a Kaiser roll and some deli coleslaw.

And 2 kiwi followed by a big Dunkin coffee.

Yes. And in my opinion the best tasting original pork roll.

Thin sliced tangy crispy edges with a slight chew to it. It's like bacon and a smoked pork chop had a baby.

Thank you. I'll look for it. I've never seen it in any market. Maybe it's regional.

From your description, is that a $40 rolled ham?
