I think my ShopRite has a 3 pound Taylor Ham for about 30 dollars. I had pre sliced vacuum packed Taylor Ham from Acme. Usually they have thin or thick slices.

Im not pork roll expert and I'm not sure what states carry it or have it. I know of 3 brands all from Trenton NJ

Taylor Ham original (John Taylor) creator?

Trenton pork roll or Cases pork roll. In my opinion the original Taylor Ham has the best tang and flavor and chew. Trenton pork roll and Cases have a softer texture and less of the salty tang.

I like it very thin and fried slightly crisp. Most markets in NJ have 6 ounce boxes 6 or 8 slices.

Most folks make 4 slits in the sides so it lays flat in the skillet.

^I knew a woman from New Jersey that talked about Taylor ham. Shortly afterward, I saw Taylor ham on a menu at a restaurant that seemed to specialize in N.E. U.S. cuisine and ordered it. Other than that, I've never seen it, so it doesn't appear to be generally available around here.

Great meats do tend to be regional, even in an era in which premium is available via shipping, it likely is to transplants.

Back in Arkansas, Petit Jean hams were of very high quality, yet even down at the Lousiana line, they were somewhat dislodged by Burge's.

When I lived in Danbury, I noted the difference in markets. The deli counter often had a line at ShopRite, a sight I had never seen in Albuquerque, Anchorage, or Arkansas. Grinders are a big thing there, to no one's surprise with the large Italian population in Connecticut.

Pizza Hut all-you-can-eat buffet salad bar and buffet pizza bar. We have figured out that if we show up at 11am (which is when the buffet starts) we can "order" our favorite pizza to be made and put out on the buffet. I did eat too much, but with their senior citizen discount it was $10 each.
 
Friday night "fuck it all" - had beer and Buffalo wings. More of each than I needed - but I loved it.
