Attention What are you having for dinner?

I stopped at McDonald's for a 10-pc McNuggets. I also saw that their "snack wrap" is back on the menu after it was discontinued a few years ago. I don't think I ever had one before. I selected the "spicy" version and it was pretty good with it's McCrispy chicken strip. I will probably have it again. It was pretty filling for $3.38.
 
I made some shells & cheese with crawfish tail meat, sweet hot pepper bacon, and added three other kinds of cheese and assorted herbs and spices. It was OK.

Also made some peanut butter brownies, with chocolate chips. I didn't like the recipe I found, so I cut the eggs from three to two, and added brown sugar, and converted the white sugar to confectioner's sugar. Also lined the bottom of the pan with roasted peanuts before adding the batter.

I only had one, I swear! Very, very good.

Chinese delivery. Sesame Shrimp with rice and sauteed string beans in garlic sauce.

They put my Sprite in a plastic bag. A real life plastic bag! :)

I might have even licked it a little.

It's in a frame now hanging in the kitchen.

Cooked a roasted chicken with a side of mashed potato and homemade gravy.
I am thinking that the leftover mashed potato's will become potato cakes and the leftover chicken and leftover gravy will become open faced sandwiches.

I'm a tad harsh on Cajun or Creole. I've had such wonderful meals in Louisiana over the years and since in restaurants elsewhere.

One of the best gumbos ever was at a place in Germantown (Memphis). The owner was a bit of a shrew or crone, but the gumbo was turtle. OUTSTANDING. Been 20 years ago.
