Now I'm onto the new Arch Enemy, "War Eternal", album ... it's surprisingly good with the new singer, Alissa White-Gluz (even though the somewhat obvious ... Vivaldi-esque chord progressions are beginning to sound a bit dated and tired within the Melo-Death Metal genre) ... I wasn't sure how well they would fare with the departure of Angela Gossow ... but White-Glus is well up to the job.

I was shocked as well - I just hope that Alissa doesn't use Arch Enemy to further her agendas at large. And, while I like her clean singing, I'm glad she decided not to use any for the album.

Uh oh ... I'm not aware of her 'agendas' ... or her 'clean-singing' ... I need to check out her previous work.
