This said I still don't get the practicability of such device... do you need to put your wrist near your ear to use it as a phone? ... or is it to be used like a computer/tablet? When sending text do you have to input text using only one hand or even one finger?
etc etc

It would be cool if you could use it like a computer or tablet ..| Is going to looks like it's str8 out from the sci-fi movies. Some people may think it as show-offy though.

@RJ I had the addiction to internet as well. Would feel really weird if I don't do my daily click on the flash games #-o

.........of having your phone on your wrist rather than in your pocket..............
Lol I thought it was obvious that it was an Iphone-watch not a new stylish Apple watch #-o

Wait... it's a phone? To replace other phones, or just so Apple can suck more money out of suckers?

I mean, it can't be smart since there's no way you'll be able to do anything other than call off it. No texting, certainly no web or anything requiring reading. Will require handsfree kit at all times. Presumably not much with iTunes in there, since the screen is so small and the internal drive can't be that big.

Seems like a step back if it is just a phone, IMO.

You mean like these..? http://www.humplex.com/2010/08/ffxiii-servicing-snow-flash.html

I also started getting over my addiction to downloading and archiving all those pages and articles by the very need to manage and assimilate it: but, just like in sex my addiction was in fact part of a longing for some ideal, the info I so crave is in fact part of the process of selection and (re)construction, so the addiction is in fact just a phase, it is not an impulsive simplistic and automated movement that could go on and on indefinitely until it ended up destroying...
Oh, all this somehow reminds me of that movie, the only thing with Bradley Cooper in it (to think that I once considered him kjwte when I first noticed him in Alias... ) that I somewhat enojyed... what was it called... let me imdb it... oh, yes, Limitless

:spank:

It would all START being kool&kreepy, in the usual View attachment 937981 way, if the time and the Apps were literally in the palm of your hands... a wrist-device is so XXth century it goes steampunk rather than forward into the new century... but what can you expect from American design, when the slickest they could get were Jobs' designs.

Wait, why not literally "at your fingertips"? it's so annoying having to type... specially this stupid alphabetic writing, and even worse in that idiotic English ortography which gets closer to chinese character "randomness" than truly alphabetic simplicity and accuracy.

Seriously, unless they invent something less "mechanical", they can shove their museum/exhibit-oriented steampunk geekgadgets up their skinny poop chutes and bulging balance sheets.

I actually agree, I believe the phone-watch will be only a transitional technology, but it is a step forward from the Iphone 1>2>3>4>5 trend which is boring the shit out of people.

This is probably how a mobile phone will look in the future.........

It's called SixthSense technology, it looks way kewl.......

That is how it "would look", just like this is how the year 2000 "would" look: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...l-French-artists-thought-wed-living-2000.html

I'm loving these, they show how imagery of a given future fails to include a total/revolutionary break in contemporary habits and only projects more developed versions of what's already available (when you look at the social sceneries, clothing, hairstyles, technologies, shown in the pictures...) and logically so I suppose... is it how "progress" really makes it through "time"? evolving little by little, or rather by bigger leaps?

I loved that one comment :
Evidently it was thought back then that fashion in clothing would remain exactly the same. - Steve, Barton on Humbe ___________________ I noticed that, too - they were able to picture skype and helicopters but not women wearing pants.

The female roller skaters were wearing the biking pants they already used in the 1890s

my phone has a scratch on it ...... should I buy the new blackberry or the new samsung?

I'm fed up with Apple and all the stuff they make and just put an "i" in front of and people think it's the first time that something like that has ever been done before.

Just got one of these.
