Are you proud about your sports car, a beach house, a loving partner or your trim body? A man needs to have something he is proud about, otherwise life can be dull and depressing. Don't you think?

I am proud of my inner strength and ability to face and deal with adversity in my life and my ability to overcome obstacles and find the silver lining in every cloud...

Also proud of my 30+ year relationship with a man I love unconditionally.

Also occasionally proud when I finish a task I start but not so proud when I just let one of them go undone. I start alot of BIG tasks and I like imagining how they will turn out and when they do turn out how I imagined I love it....take a day or so to appreciate it and then on to something else....

Alot of things I am not so proud of but that isn't the topic:lol:

Two certain threads that I made on a gaming forum dominated by straight men. I'll just leave it at that.

I am proud of helping a couple of people on their way.

One was a JUB member who was sort of blocked. His life was miserable and he had attempted suicide. It took a couple of years, but he turned it around, met the man of his dreams, left a bad job, and posts ridiculously happy things all the time online. We never can make another person happy, only help them decide to be happy if they choose.

A second was a young Thai engineering student who was facing a hopeless situation with school and family. It seemed impossible, but he had the answers if he only had a little help and encouragement. It has been a pleasure to watch his transform from a stressed and desperate soul to a smiling and happy man.

As a friend said in this thread, I have many, many faults, but I will cling to the few virtues when I can.
