Are you a talker or a listener? Is it really possible to be both?

I like to think I do both equally well, but in reality I know I'm more of a talker.

Totally depends on my mood, some days I will listen to people for hours, others I will talk for hours.

Well tbh....I only speak unless I have something to say. I really have to be comfortable with you to actually talk to you. Now if I'm at work I'll turn it on and get the job done but it's really all superficial.

I need another category for the way I am. I talk a good bit, and listening skills are honed and sharpened adequately to allow me to talk with the heavyweights. But above both those categoris, I am a thinker. My mind seldom rests, and often I want to tell it to take a hike, but it pays not the slightest bit of attention.

The proper order of these modes of expression is 1. Think as objectively as you can. Then be an educated listener. Know what to discard, what to put away, and what to save and ponder further. Then talk. In this manner you are likely to talk with discretion and direction.

Both

I like to talk but I also know the importance of and how to listen

You have one mouth and two ears - use them proportionately

I believe that to be a true or a real talker one must first learn how to listen. How can one say the right thing if he has not listened to what needs to be said?

i tend to be a listener more than a talker.

Depends on my mood.

But I would say "listener" because it's all mature and stuff.

I tend to talk WAY too much at times, and though I try it is more effort for me to listen.

Listener. It gets me into trouble. My friends will talk to me about everything and then get mad that I don't share anything with them, but in reality I'm just a really shitty talker.

Both. Probably more of a listener though. Depends what the conversation is about.

A little of both. I use to talk more, but time has a way of teaching you things.
