For those of you who don't know, "Synthol, or site enhancement oil, is one way bodybuilders get so artificially big. Synthol is a mixture of medium-chain triglyceride oils, lidocaine and benzyl alcohol. Translated, it’s a synthetic oil made from fatty acids and painkiller. First concocted by bodybuilder Chris Clark in the 90s, synthol can be injected locally to the part of the body you want to enhance.
Repeated injections see the accumulated oil become encapsulated between the muscle fibers. This can last between 3 to 5 years."
Considering how absolutely ridiculous it looks I never thought that this would ever reach a point where it became a trend, but apparently it's fairly common in Brazil, and is catching on fast in other parts of the world. And, like with breast (and other) implants, people seem less bothered with whether or not the results are proportionate to the rest of their bodies and more focused on the basic increase in size that it allows, regardless of what it looks like.
