Good morning, everyone. Hope you are doing well.

List as many things that just bug, annoy, or otherwise perturb the heck out of you. What are your biggest irks and pet peeves?

Here's my list, in no particular order...

When someone sneaks up behind me, and startles me, or taps me on the shoulder, trying to get my attention. That just bugs the utter hell out of me. Not kidding, I almost (but thankfully didn't) accidentally decked someone who did this to me once. I immediately apologized, but warned them not to do that again. I caught myself just that once, but no guarantees about the next time.

People who talk or text on their cell phones while driving. I've lost count of the car wrecks I've dodged through the years because I was paying attention when they weren't. :grrr:  :##: /facepalm

That's all I can think of, for now. If I think of more, I'll post more.

Thanks! ..|

My list would honestly be endless, but I'll keep it simple and something that bothers me the most.

Stupidity. I can't handle it.

Then why spread so much of it around? :p :rotflmao: J/K.

I really get annoyed when people go around taking everything far too seriously. Life is far too short for that shit. We just need to relax and live.

Stupid people also bug me. It's the middle of winter, and I see young guys walking around with t-shirts, tight jeans and flip flops. Flip flops in winter!?! I'd love to just go snatch their floppies and smack them about the head with them. It's 30 degrees out there for goodness sake. Wear a damn coat and put some shoes on. My next door neighbor, a young gay guy living with his parents, is apparently dumb as shit. He always cuts the grass during the summer in flip flops as well. Your toes are mere inches away from a spinning blade flinging grass and debris, yet you won't wear shoes? Idiot!

So I guess you would consider me a stupid person. I like to wear a speedo during the winter, and nothing else. I enjoy the cold and find it invigorating to be in nothing but a speedo. How very kind of you to judge others based on your own personal whims. But guess what, that is something that annoys me.

Okay, I have had a couple of glasses champagne while yet to eat dinner, so I was simply going to write cockroaches, but a re-read told me this would be wrong.

So - people who ask me to repeat myself; those who don't think before asking redundant questions; unnecessarily rude people; writers who publish shit and then complain about poor turnouts at launches or poor sales; plagiarists; my boss; inconsiderate lovers; people who don't indicate that they intend to change lane on the road; racists and other bigots - inc., those who speak to foreign visitors like they're suddenly retarded and have extraordinarily poor grammar, and the list goes on...

Hugs everyone...

Slow drivers in the fast lane.
People who park their carts in the middle of the aisle at the grocery store.
Parents who don't control their children in public.
Passengers in my car who think that they are going to talk on their cell phones while I'm driving. I turn the stereo up!

slow walking people clogging up the streets bug me
I want to smack them on the back of the head when they are in front of me

it's a fucking big city and behave like you live in one](*,)](*,)

Poor grammar in normal conversation...

"Ax" instead of "ask." "Supposably" instead of "supposedly."

Poor spelling; when a missive is full of "there" when the use indicates it really should be "their" - or "they're." I don't want to put together a full list of this kind of shit - it would take entirely too long.

Obvious spelling and grammatical mistakes in newspaper and magazine articles. Aren't the Editors supposed to find that shit??

(Sorry, please don't hate me for any of it, it's the English major in me.)

8. Running out of essentials

7. Entitled people

6. Hypocrites

5. People who can't accept responsibility for their actions or situations.

4. Obnoxious douchebags who demand attention at all times and get angry and even more obnoxious when they don't get that attention (you know, those people whose friends don't even like them).

3. Attractive people who think they can do and say whatever they want, and treat others any way they please, just because the world thinks they're pretty. Fact is, they're fucking ugly on the inside.

2. The fact that out of the thousands of incredibly talented singers on YouTube, Justin Bieber, who is quite mediocre to say the least and seemingly prone to assholishness, is the one who became famous and successful. It's appalling.

1. Religious fanatics who look down upon those of us who are non-religious or gay or of a different religion/denomination, etc; those who try to force their beliefs down the throats of any and every person they come into contact. Seriously, my bff's ex-roommate was so extreme that she deleted Ave Maria from my bff's computer because she is not Catholic, and also threw away her yoga mat because yoga is "the worship of Buddha (her words, not mine)." Sadly, I know far too many other people like her that I have to deal with regularly.
