Guys,

I'd like to improve my physical condition. I'm currently thin, but at least I have broad shoulders and big bones, so, the base is there. But the muscles aren't and I want to make them grow. Not too much, just enough to make them look nice and to make my BF drool... lol.

The problem is, I can't pay a gym and I don't have any equipment at home. I'm interested in getting more muscle all over and gaining 15-20 pounds.

Could any of you give some advice on what to do?

Thanks.

Buy a book on isometrics and go for it!

If there is a YMCA near you, they will reduce the rates for anyone that can't afford it, sometimes in exchange for some volunteer work.

Jogging and swimming are other low cost ways of getting/maintaining your shape.

Buy a cheap pair of weights from walmart, there's a lot of routines you can do at home without a gym.

I do cardio (a lot of it, endorphin-junkie here) + pushups + situps... I haven't made stellar gains in the chest area, but I have tamed the abs beast.

Going to start with some weights at home in between gym visits, and I was just giggling because I DID get mine at Walmart...:D

If you live in Atlantida, you can go to the beach to swim, if it's not too cold, obviously, hehe.

I see that you're here in Uruguay. Therefore you know that it isn't too hot now. Plus, I've read that it takes you forever to build up muscle from swimming. And I mean "forever" (not some months)

If you want to buid "muscle all over", you're going to need to join a gym or get some equipment. Push ups, pull ups, sit ups, etc. will help, but only in certain muscle groups.

Or you could just enjoy being skinny... If you can't build muscle, at least get yourself into good cardiovascular shape by doing something cheap like running and cycling.

Ahh to be skinny again...

There is a really good program at this website http://www.vincedelmontefitness.com/
My brother was on it and packed on some great muscle...

Just out of curiosity, is that a diet you have to stick to for the long term or is it just until you've built muscle? It seems pretty bland and boring to me. Personally, I think I'd rather keep my current shape and enjoy eating.
