  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What car do you drive?

I ride the bus. Gas and car insurance are way too expensive for me.

Half of my family drives Saturns, and the other half drives Hyundais. I'd like a Volvo, but I definitely don't have the cash for that.

2008 BMW 535xi, 300 hp twin turbo charged, fully loaded with the nav, 13 speaker stereo with TWO subwoofers, up graded heated seat AND the best part of all is the heated steering wheel! Truely, the ultimate driving machine. It's a beauty. It handles like a dream and goes like a bullet. Mine is the same color as the one in the pic below with a black interior.(!)
I first experienced the heated steering wheel on my 2001 740iL.

The salesman was telling me about the optional cold weather package. It had a ski boot which I wanted. But thought "a heated steering wheel, c'mon."

The first winter with it I wondered how ever I lived without it!!

Chevy s10 4X4 because I need to get through the snow in wintertime and a truck is convenient for hauling stuff around.

2003 Mustang GT convertible

2001 Acura Integra GS, which I bought used in 2004 - great little car. New Acuras are FAR too pricey for me, so my next car will most likely be a Honda - I doubt I'd consider anything else.
If money were no object, I'd have a collection of cars from the 50's - 80's.

:-)

1969 Mustang, that was my uncle’s. He had it in his hay barn, my cousin and I had been playing in it, and on it for years; when we got older we got the bright idea of fixing it back up.

It literally took 2 years to get it running, between him and me, we both drove it most of our senior year in H.S. until he got caught with a case of bud in the car and got his license yanked.

We both went off to college and the car went back to the barn.

I drive a '97 Ford Taurus, and I love it.

Of the four car that I've owned, it's been the most durable and reliable. I hope to get many more years out of it.

Mini Cooper S and looking around for a second car for next summer, something smaller...
