Assuming you had the money to afford it, and didn't have to worry about resale value or anything like that, what kind of car would you get if it was going to be your daily driver? Many of us would love to have a Ferrari or an Atom or a old Classic Thunderbird, but those are not realistic as a day to day car. What would you want day to day?

I actually have a crush on the Saab 9-3X Sport-combi. And I miss my Volvo 850 Turbo Wagon. But there are not too many cars built in the last few years I really even like, let alone want. Even the new Volvos and Land Rovers leave me unfullfilled.

I'm more than happy with my Mazda3 hatchback. It's the most comfortable car I've ever drove, gets great gas mileage and I like the looks.

Exactly what I now drive, a Mercedes E 350 coupe, white with black interior. My favorite car--ever.

Go big or go home.

Why not a Maybach?

Although in reality?

I like my Honda Fit. I bought it used with only 20k miles on it. Like my Toyota Matrix, it's bigger inside than out, like the Tardis. What I don't like about either of them is the cheapness in terms of road noise. Neither is as loud as the worst, which is a grade beneath these, but they aren't as quiet as I like.

Wanted a used Volvo this time, but it got sold before I could get to it. I want high efficiency cars, but could do with a bit more quality if I had the money.

I would be bored with a Lamborghini after a few days or a vintage Corvette, considering the damaged roads here so I'd get a full optional 500 Competizione in Campovolo grey.

A classic 95 -97 Land Rover Defender 90. However at about $150 grand for a decent one with 150,000 miles on it I think I will hold off.

I love the looks of them, and the idea of one, but I know a guy who had one and to be hinest they rode terrible, always needed work, you got soaked when it rained out and had to be your own mechanic because no one else could fix the thing. On the other hand he sold it for like $15k more than he bought it new for. And that was because it was totally stripped apart, he could have doubled that if he got it back to running.

Same thing with the G Wagon. Love the looks and sitting high like that, but could never live with it.
