Mine are Blue! Very DEEP Blue!! Unless I'm not feeling all that well ... and, then ... they will tend toward gray!

I am fascinated with Eyes, and all of their various colors ("colours"). I'm particularly partial to Green! (With "Hazel" as a close "runner up"!) And, I'm amazed at how many different "Browns" that there are, from "reddish" to "golden"!

It's said that the Eyes are the "Windows to the Soul". And, no matter the color, Guys with "Warm" Eyes just make Me MELT!! And, Guys with cool "Pale" Eyes make Me HARD!

"Cum" to think about it ... GUYS, in general, get Me "Going"!!

I used to think my eyes were hazel, but the dictionary says that hazel is light brown to yellowish brown - the color of hazel nuts. My eyes are an olive green with no brown, and they look more like picture of the dark green eyes in Wiki. Once I bought some opaque contact lens to change my eye color to green (I had thought my eyes were hazel before), but they made no change whatsoever. So I decided to wear one opaque green contact lens and one clear lens and ask my brother which was which. He thought the eye with the clear lens was the one with the green lens but said he really couldn't tell the difference. Therefore I decided that my eyes must be green. That's what everyone in Mexico had told me anyway.

There is no agreement as to what hazel means, but since it refers to hazel nuts, I prefer the definition of light brown to yellow brown. Many people have multicolored eyes, but mine are pretty much one color. My brother's eyes are light blue at the edge and almost yellow at the center. Our sister has bright green eyes - a brighter shade of green than mine, which is why I used to call mine hazel.

My father has piercing pale greenish blue eyes, which I hate. I always felt that he was looking right through me. My mother has pretty much the same color that I have.

My eyes are blue, about this shade OOOO. When I wear certain shirts of a darker blue, my eyes darken, somewhat like this OOOOO. Freaky? You betcha.
But not as freaky as the pupil in my right eye, which after two macular surgeries to close a hole which gratuitously appeared in the macula (the bullseye of the retina), became permanently ovoid in shape. Cat's Eye forever. TMI?

But I do have a question is somebody can answer it for me....I've had a few girls (never a guy ) come up to me and compliments me on my cat like eyes. When I ask them what that means...they say, "they seem to glow in the dark and they look moist and caring"

I checked my eyes again, and in a dark room, they appear to be completely green, but in bright light they are green at the edge and light brown in the center, more like the picture of the hazel eyes in Wiki. Since I wear contacts, I can change the color. If I wear blue ones, they make my eyes look turquoise.

I've noticed that women comment on eyes more than men, possibly because women are jealous of the thicker eyelashes that men tend to have.
