What color are your teeth?

My teeth are whiter than Michael Jackson. I don't smoke, and if i have coffee or tea (or anything that stains) i brush my teeth as soon as i can.
My dentist told me recently that THE worst thing for your teeth are sports drinks, even worse than tooth-rotting soda. Who knew? Good thing my favorite drink is water.
 
I was told by my dentist when I had a bridge put in that asians normally had cream white teeth, not yellow, or brilliant white. So if I chose brilliant white it would look odd. I didn't and you can't tell the difference between the real ones and the bridge.

It seems that tooth enamel colour is race dependent.

At 19 I had a perfect set of pearly white china choppers ...

Today, at 53 ..... well .... one of the front ones is false and there's more amalgam than enamel in the back ones, but I can still flash a white-ish smile when I have to....

I have been able to keep them pretty white. I'm kind of a freak about that.
My dentist has been very helpful with advise on keeping them white.

When I was a kid, my younger brother got into my mother's art supplies and brushed his teeth with green oil paint thinking it was toothpaste. I wish I had a camera to film my mother's reaction when my kid brother came out to the living room foaming green at the mouth. :eek:
