Bears What constitutes bear?

I might be an force of one, but I put more of a premium on hair than I do size/weight. Especially if the guy is older (35 and up). Others define a bear as someone stocky or bulky in frame. Most agree that hairy is part of the definition. Additionally, most guys define "bear" as someone who is not "young" per se (as in a "Cub"). In my mind (again, a force of one) I think of a bear as a hairy guy 35 and up. It really depends on who you're talking to in what defines a bear.

That's the classic definition of a bear and the one I hold too. Although more broadly it seems even in the bear world no one agrees on what a bear is anymore...
It seems that 10+ years ago it used to mean something different at least according to some people.
