  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What degree did you earn from graduating college?

It was 88 Fahrenheit and clear when I graduated with a Bitch of Arts degreeheehee.

That sounds very awesome! I love technology! Do you create games?

YES i do, i love my job! :) I'm lucky enough to work for a middle sized game production company. I get to work from home, 90% of my work is content based (art, graphics, 3D modeling, etc... Which is evident if you look at my profile page too ;) ), and we submit it to the company online.

It's really a great job, for me anyways. Comes with nice perks too (especially if you are a gamer), umlimted access to game Alphas and Betas (that our company is making anyways), free copies of the games, etc... Except we aren't allowed by contract to disclose what games the company is working on, or even divulge what company we work for; for fears of corporate spying and content theft. You can imagine gamers out there would do just about anything to get pre-release info on a game.

I also do freelance VFX work, for Television and Commercials. But that's more once every now and then.

i have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from CSU-Fullerton, my emphasis is entertainment art/animation

i'm currently working on an Associates Degree in Nursing (i'm hoping that i get admitted into the program for Spring 2007)

BS in History/Political Science (Pre-Law)*
---Certified to teach Secondary School History/Government/Civics

MS in Political Science

*Being drafted back in the Viet Nam era caused my Pre-Law to go away; and then I decided to make the military a career; but got my Master's while Active Duty, so that was a good thing!

I had planned on going to law school eventually; but since decided against it...health issues

I really, really think your degree in Special Ed is so worth Michael ^ and it certainly is needed very much in ALL school districts where-ever you might choose to go! If I had it to do all over again, I think I too would choose the field in some manner...(*8*) (*8*)

I have a BA in social science. I'd love to continue my education, but lack the time and money to do so.

I recently finished my Bachelors in advertising and communications minor from the university of oregon this year. ideally i will go into graduate studies in the near future perhaps a few years down the line after i've worked a few years and can afford to pay for it.

In a couple of months I will have my bachelors of Science..then on to Masters and PhD in combined Anthropology and Archaeology!

What can I say... I didn't know what I wanted to be when I grew up and discovered I would never be Miss America or Wonder Woman! And dammit, I know I'd look FABULOUS in a bustier and stilletos!

You do not happen to teach bio-engineering at UVa...do you? My friend Jeff has the same degrees and is a prof at my alma mater...now!

Chance, I am a little further south than Va. - in the Atlanta area to be specific. And yes, I do teach engineering.

Degree in Biochemistry. hopefully when I'm out of school I'll stop sounding like such a nerd. or a geek. or a dork.
