What did you do this weekend?

3-day charity golf tourney on the beach. 81 holes of golf, great hotel, excellent meals, making new friends, seeing old friends...lots o'fun. We were too far south to be affected by the hurricane, so the weather was lovely too.

Joe - I've given you a ration of shit at times for your extreme nationalistic pride (to the exclusion of all others), but I have to agree, the UK has some of the most breathtakingly beautiful mountains and trails on which to hillwalk. You get a free, unchallenged ride on this one. ;) I have a friend that is a Glaswegian, and every few years I'll go and visit, and he always lines up fishing and hillwalking trips for us and I'm always stunned by the beauty there.
 
Watched in wonder as my parent's discussed how to remodel the kitchen, how much money it would take, and what I would be doing to help. After that I decided to go to my room and study the Driver's manual so I can get my license out of the house and away before they decide when to do it.

I learned some new video editing software and started a photo study of an old barn near here. The best time to shoot the barn won't come for another month when the apple tree turns, but I wanted to get some preliminary studies. It's a rather hackneyed subject, but driving past it every day for the last six years, I've developed a bit of fascination with it.
 
That's some beautiful country there, looks like you had a great time. I worked Saturday, well as much as I could without hurting myself more, and Sunday I just did some light housework to recover from what I did to myself Saturday.

One day I'd like to make it to Europe and see the sights.
 
I had to work (&$*#@!) but it's nice to see that someone went out and enjoyed a beautiful weekend!

Every time I see a photo of some place on our planet, I can usually think of a similar spot in the USA. With your photos, I was flummoxed. Great location!

For myself, I worked most of the weekend. That's when I make my money.
 
OK, maybe Colorado or Montana. But, I'd expect to see more coniferous trees.

Maybe some remote area in Canada, Alaska, Greenland, dunno?

Cool place, anyway!
