My BF and I are coming up on our 1 year anniversary.... we picked the first Friday in December as ours - since we couldn't remember exactly which day it was. Least we get to celebrate every year on a Friday Night :)

Curious as to what everyone got their loved overs (if anything) their first anniversary?
 
First of all, many congratulations on your first anniversary! :=D:

You know, my first anniversary was 12 years ago, and I don't remember! LOL !oops! I'm sure it was wonderful, though! :help:

Personally, I think quiet weekend romantic get-aways on the first anniversary are the neatest kind. If that's not practical, a romantic dinner and a book by his favorite author or favorite musical CD is always nice. It'll be interesting to see what people suggest.

Anyway, congratulations again! :wave:
 
We actually have TWO anniversaries - one is in February (when we first began the "relationship") and one is in July (when we moved in together). I believe on our first February anniversary, we went out a lovely dinner, then came home and cuddled by the fireplace. I can't imagine we did that in July. :)

Like AverageGuy...my anniversary was over 13 years ago. Couldn't tell you what we did!!
Make the most of it and celebrate and have a good time!!

I would suggest a nice quiet dinner followed by anight of lovemaking
 
Our anniversary is Dec 18 - the day he moved in back in 1997

We celebrate the same every year. No gifts, just a nice dinner out together
 
we went out to dinner and walked on the beach after, kinda fooled around for a bit then went home and had sex most of the night... Now we just go on cruises together alot as they are so much fun.

and now being together for 24 years we still have alot of fun.
 
Congrats!!!! Alex and I will be 2 years in the end of November. Last November for one year anniversary I took him out for a very nice dinner then we took an evening walk hand in hand not worrying about what anyone thought.
 
We have missed our first anniversary. He was reading for his exams and I was trying to get him a sound job.

In a manner of speaking, his present was a cool job. I got everything else.
