  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What did you have for dinner?

Friday Fish Fry w/ Chowder, Side Salad for lunch.

Tonight is daughter's birthday - she's requested Chinese.

I cooked a cross of Chicken Fajita marinated tenders with three rice combinations and mixed veggies for a mid-PM lunch/dinner today.

Yesterday we had Rotisseried Chicken, fresh, seasoned green beans, Ricearoni.

Friday Night, we had marinated, sauteed flank steak, baked baby potatoes, green beans.

Some nice Chardonnay and Petit Noir to accompany said meals.
Where's HBB? Did he hop off to the other thread that got started?

SUNDAY night: nothing except a couple small snacks.

but, SATURDAY night: roasted (or crock-pot) RACCOON, two things with turkey gravy (mashed potatoes, dressinhg), sauerkraut, cole slaw.

WOW!! This was a raccoon supper outside of Milwaukee, which I've tried to attend for DECADES. It's nearly 300 miles from here, and ALWAYS on the wrong weekend (two weeks earlier would often work).

But I had to go to a funeral for a good friend (a woman) who died, the funeral was in Joliet IL. That was close enough to tell myself "Hey I'm in the neighborhood" of the raccoon thing!"

And besides I wanted to visit another grieving friend north of Milwaukee (Port Washington). Before hanging at his place watching off-the-wall videos (Soviet Union animation, etc.), he drove to
Delafield to meet me at the raccoon feed.

TRY IT SOMETIME IF YOU GET THE CHANCE, it's some of the most delicious meat there is!

Only what I could quickly microwave while on break, I was working.

A Chicken Pesto Pasta dish from Healthy Choice. And a container of yogurt.

Skipped dinner - as I was having a Mardi Gras party. :D

So... my dinner was cocktails and popcorn. :)

Freddy, got any leftovers?

So far, just some Clam Chowder. Gotta go foraging in the Kitchen, see what's on offer. Probably either Lasagna, or Chili Cheese Fries.
