  • Hi Guest - Did you know?
Hot Topics is a Safe for Work (SFW) forum.

What did you have for dinner?

tonight we went to Cape Porpoise, Maine and had the best baked stuffed lobster. (stuffed with crab), salad and fries. Topped it off with home made blueberry pie with ice cream

Prime Rib Beef Stroganoff at T G I Fridays.
Side Salad
Tall Blue Moon draft.

An 8-ounce sirloin steak, baked potato (for which I asked, and got, a little cup of some of the juice from the steaks), and baked beans. Water to drink.

A great bargain for only $6, and the steak was quite good for NOT being cooked-to-order.

This was at a local supermarket, which was having this special in celebration of being in Macomb for 30 years now.

Chicken in Reggae-Reggae sauce with broccoli on the side.

Pure heaven

(if you live somewhere where you can buy Reggae-Reggea sauce and haven't tried it, I suggest you do. you won't regret it!)

I made a pizza from scratch and cooked it on the grill at 600°

Thai Chicken Stir Fry w/ Peanut Sauce, Rice Noodles all made from scratch by my 17YO daughter. Very tasty.

Cold chicken, baked potato, saled. A pear for pudding with a little cheese. Washed down with Pinot Grigio.

I simmered homemade bean soup with ham bone all day, so that turned into the main part of dinner, mainly because I wasn't hungry enough to cook later, and no one else volunteered, since my wife and one daughter were at a wedding shower for our nephew and his fiancee.

I made pork chops w/ milk gravy around 10, so we had a sampling.

Smoked then Grilled Baby Back Ribs (I did the Smoking myself!)
3 ears of some of the best Sweet Corn Ever
Half a fresh sliced tomato from the next door neighbors garden (no I didn't steal it)
Cucumber slices (fresh, local, organic) marinated in vinegar for two days

I want more of that damn corn. MMMMMMMM. :D
