I had lunch out, so just cheese and crackers and a bottle of red for supper.

A big bowl of buckwheat hot cereal with milk and sugar.
Two hard-boiled eggs.
Steamed mix of spinach, Portobello mushrooms, Brussels sprouts (sorry for making some of you shudder), green beans, carrots, cauliflower, broccoli.
So...vegetarian, but not vegan. (I still do eat meat, but I'm WAY on the "low end" of the average.)
No animals were harmed in the production of my dinner.

Wendy's Taco Salad was picked up for me while I stopped at the "Every Day you Get our Best" store currently being hawked by Alec Baldwin.
Last night I had the last of the leftover Chicken pie from my Party.
We went out to our local pub for $5 1/2# burger and fries night - so did the rest of town - PACKED! Nobody felt like cooking, I guess. Then had to order some wings because everyone around us was ordering and my nose followed the scent.
Good food, had 4 pints of Sierra Nevada - the beer of the month - haven't had that much beer in like forever.

Tonight will be fried chicken,
mashed potatoes and (guess what kind) gravy
Fresh broccolli florets in cheddared onion sauce
Fresh wharf Sour Dough w/ garlic butter
Tomorrow.........what ever they serve in the cholesterol overload unit
at Mercy Hospital.

I have dinner simmering - about 20 minutes till it's done.
Saute'ed Pork Chops
w/ Onions, Green & Red Bell Peppers in tomato sauce
served over split baked potatoes.
Actually pretty healthy - since the chops are lean - just some Canola oil and a little butter w/ the oil to saute'e everything.
The Garlic, Basil, and fresh ground Black Pepper add to the wonderful aromatics.
I may have some White wine that's already open to go with it.
