What did you have for dinner?

Some Beef knuckle (not a lot of meat!) crock-potted w/ potatoes and veggies.
 
Jambalaya - rice with sausage, beans, red pepper, tomatoes, Cajun seasoning. Spicy stuff. Great with ice cold beer.
 
I make my Jambalaya w/ Shrimp, Chicken, Pork, Ham, Andouille Sausage, Peppers, Onions, Tomatoes, and Rice cooked in Beef Broth - plus garlic, black pepper, some red pepper. Absolutely good stuff!
 
Lasagne with meat sauce
Tomato and cucumber salad
fresh locally grown canteloupe (Irondequoit Melon) for desert

Cincinnati Chili is of a worldly nature. A Macedonian Tom Kiradjieff invented it and it is flavored with cinnamon, cloves, allspice or chocolate which is hardly an American flavoring... no it resembles American-izing the pasty mushed foods of the region he came from... and it is damn good.

I think i will write a book after I retire.... call it Grubbin and Jubbin... so I can travel to meet each of you and eat these wonderful dishes that keep getting detailed page after page....

Based on the bottom pic, it looks like it was a choke collar attached in the sensitive parts, and you pulled a bit too hard.
 
Tonight I will enjoy some Chinese take away... I know pork fried rice but haven't decide on a main... perhaps Thai Basil Chicken (Spicy) or Crispy orange Chicken...

Josie i found some Nanami Togarashi at the world market and that is the only reason i made soup yesterday... so deliciously spicy. And yeah i know it is Japanese but thought you might know of it....
 
I popped out for Pepper Steak w/ Onions, spicy, over Pork Fried Rice for lunch.

Had a couple of pieces of leftover pepperoni pizza for dinner - nobody was home when I got here.

I saw leftovers in the fridge, didn't realize there was also a new chicken stir-fry.
 
A full feast! :luv2: Whiskey-and-ginger cocktails, chawanmushi, mackerel braised in red miso, fried black chicken, variety of tsukemono, matcha panna cotta, lots of nigiri sushi and one wondrous monkfish liver bite. I don't eat like this often, unfortunately.

But I could.
