What did you have for dinner?

red kidney beans curry (out of a heat-and-serve pouch), adding leftover chicken meat from a rotisseried chicken I bought last week

Lettuce salad (with some added mushrooms, eggs, sunflower seeds), honey mustard dressing (no HFCS)

some beets
 
Beef Stroganoff - we ate all from yesterday between dinner last night and lunch, so they made more - this time w/ rice instead of noodles.
 
Well for the love of innocuous threads that refuse to die I offer this weeks Sunday meal for my consumption....

Grilled center cut pork chops marinated and basted in Brown Sugar and bourbon, Collard and mustard greens slow cooked with garlic, onions and a smoked ham shank, fried Sweet corn and tomatoes with either ciabatta bread or corn bread... (haven't decided if I wanna put in the effort for the cornbread....
 
Sounds good to me.

Last night we stopped for Italian on the way back from Naples.

I had Calamari Fra Diavolo w/ Gnocchi.

Had so much, brought almost half home, added some leftover whole wheat spaghetti to the leftovers for today.

Last night we did a fondue with sour dough bread, mini sausages and carrots. Tonight is BBQ ribs and peaches & cream corn on the cob. Yum!!!!!
 
Flat Iron Steak with caramelized green, yellow peppers and yellow sweet onions. With some mash potatoes. Just something I cooked up with what was in the fridge :)
 
Pickled cherries and fennel, kimchi, mapo tofu, chicken udon-noodle soup. <Not very good. A cocktail of rum, rye, benedictine, punt e mes and bitters. <Excellent.

That sounds excellent. i dunno why but I am loving flatsteak lately....
