Years ago I've heard 'rosebud'. Don't know if it's still used.
is it just me or do these all sound really disgusting? then again if I was a girl I probably wouldn't want to be hearing anything about my "furburger" either...

Where on earth did you hear that? That has in no way been my experience whatsoever. It's more of an anomoly to find someone NOT into anal.As a matter of a fact there is only a minority of gay guys into ass sex (according to some statistics, not even a third), which probably explains there are so very few names for it.

Very disappointing, I think I was hoping to hear some "secret" gay name for it or something, its a similar feeling to when I ask black people to tell me white people jokes and they say there aren't any.
says a lot about white people and straight guys, doesn't it?

Whoever wrote that website clearly has no understanding of homosexuality. How the hell the came to those conclusions is beyond me. And, no we did not format our behaviours on those that are straight. Those are some far stretching conclusions that based on some pretty bizarre distortions.
And as to what gay guys call buttholes we call them just that. We have no need to make the word all pretty and frilly. It is an asshole.
I don't disagree with that, but someone saying only 15% of gays participate in anal sex and most calling it abhorrent is beyond ridiculous.i am not saying that anal sex does not play a role i am saying that there is more to gay sex than anal sex. it would be like saying straight people use only the missionary position or something like taht.
because i doubt the validity of the study. considering that one of my major research focuses in academia is human sexuality i do not see how they can possibly draw that conclusion. if you really wanted to get some insight perhaps you put a poll up and see the responses that you get in this forum alone. granted it would not meet strict scientific standards but it would show a different picture that this "study' presents. Perhaps I will go back and look at there research methods, but as I recall they did not go into enough detail on how the complied the research for anyone to draw any kind of conclusive decision. it seems to be nothing more than a subjective use of stereotypes.
