Just because a straight person has gay friends doesn't mean he's gay. Or bi.
Actually.. it's funny.. last night my buddy and I went to the Abbey here in LA. It used to be the coolest gay bar going. But we walked in and the place was a freaking fish factory. 50% straight women and about 40% straight guys. Taking up all the best tables, the best seating places, clogging the walk ways and standing in my way. The gay men had been squeezed out by the straight people who had taken it over.
It seems to happen a lot... gay bars that are really cool and classy just get invaded. I knew it was going down hill when I saw a bachelorette party there last year and it's just gotten worse. It's not even a gay bar anymore.
needless to say we hung out long enough to see this, walked around the place once and left. The bar next door called "Here" wasn't much better and we left there too.
Are there no places for those people? Do they have to ruin every cool thing that gay people make? It's like all the straight couples moving into the Castro and then complaining about how gay it is.

Okay, I can deal with some women at a gay bar or club. But, what irritates the hell out of me is when women walk up to the bar and expect to be instantly served while the guys wait. I guess they get used to that "special" treatment when they go to straight bars with their tits hanging out.
