something about the phrase WELL-HUNG makes me think that the measurement must be for a SOFT COCK. If that is the case, then I think anything over 4 inches is pretty nicely hung.

The term 'hung' tends to imply lenght more than girth 
So I would say that anything greater than 8 would constitute 'hung' by the standards of the adult industry.
However, for purposes of playing, I'd take a thicker 6 over a skinny 8. For example, I like to be able to take a shaft all the way in my mouth, without tripping off my gag reflex.
I think it's important to draw a distinction between 'hung' and 'stud'. I believe that these terms are independent factors. I have had my world rocked by average and even small guys who knew how to use their boners with authority -- studs in the truest sense

"Well-hung" is like "obscene". I can't really define what it means to me, but I know it when I see it.
