What do you do about nose hair?

I deal with my nose hairs by...

  • plucking/tweezing them.

I just use a small scissor. Flare my nostrils and any hair stick out then snip snip.
 
I zip off any long ones with my beard trimmer.
 
Pluck them. BTW, my nose hairs are gray. Well, I'm glad my only gray hair is in a spot people wouldn't be looking.

I use a nose hair trimmer. But it's one of those trimmers that you can switch the head and it suddenly becomes a beard trimmer.
 
Scissors, whenever one hair sticks out.

Damn, that reminds me of that slightly(?) retarded guy in once saw at a checkout, he was smiling in my direction and all I noticed was the jungle popping out of his nostrils.
 
I'm curious to know what these other methods are. I hear igniting them is dangerous.
 
i've tried plucking my nose hairs before, and just doing ONE was extremely painful, made my eyes water and I kept sneezing.


Fuck that shit.
 
I do a combination... I use an electric trimmer, but sometimes I wild hair will grow out of nowhere and I tweeze it (actually keep a pair of tweezers in the car, it gives me something to do in traffic). In the past I've also used small scissors.

The best practice, according to those who dole out advice in public, is the trimmer/scissor route. After all the hair is there for a reason, to catch and detain foregeign bodies like germs and allergens so that the nasal membrane can cover them with mucus the natural functions of the nose expell them from the body. If you pluck them out, they can't do that.

My thinking, however, is that the silli of the inner nasal cavity can do that just as well, and in less public a place. Plucking takes longer to grow back, so you're sticking shit up your nose less often. Plus, trimming leaves stubble, and in some parts of my nose stubble is more uncomfortable than long hairs. Hence the combination.
 
I think there are hairs in my nose but I can't see them so I've never tried to cut them. Why would I need to cut them though? They aren't hurting anybody. Sometimes when I blow my nose a hair comes out too but that is the only time I see them.
 
leave it to me to have had my nose hairs waxed. but usually i trim them.

i love having my nose hairs waxed it less painful than plucking and more effective than trimming.
 
Hand pluck.

Anything beyond finger reach is not errant and allowed

to do the job nature intended.
