What do you do while driving?

Today I was driving around singing Queen's "We Will Rock You/ We Are The Champions" at the top of my lungs and the music blaring. I got some odd looks, but I kept on keeping on

Cd's or Ipod or talk radio, depending on the mood. Talk radio is better than what's being played on FM these days.

As long as I am in range of an all-classical FM station, I listen to that. On long trips, I listen to recorded reading of detective fiction. Unabridged books, that is. Most any kind of well-written mystery or adventure story keeps boredom away.
Some authors read their own work. Very few of them should. Professional actors bring much better interpretive skills to the microphone.

And then, if the mood is right, and I am in passable voice, I will entertain myself by singing some of my faves. No so much anymore, since my range has shrunk to about four or five notes. Not much is written for my present day voice.

ahem

Well, since I got Bluetooth that comes thru the car speakers, I mostly just talk to people,
or listen to local radio...

But, for road trips, it's endless Dead tapes/cd's/ etc.

Howard Stern in the morning
CDs other times
Talk on the phone sometimes (headset of course)

I'm usually busy fleeing from the police :(

Pull-over, Vanman34! So this is where you've been hiding!

Let me think of some things I've done while driving: [** = rare]

daydream
listen to music on cassettes, or the radio
listen to talk radio (nowadays, often, Sirius Left)
"DX" on the radio (tune around and see what "exotic" stations might be coming in from far away)
eat food (finger food, but I've gotten as "extreme" as eating fried chicken while driving)
**fondled a sexual partner sitting next to me (easier way back when I had a car with bench seats, not a truck)
talked to my passenger(s)
**listened to a hitchhiker sing and play a guitar from his passenger seat
**playing with myself
**sleeping [-X (certainly glad this is rare...)
singing
problem-solving, working on mental puzzle "gymnastics" etc.
and, of course, seeing lots of scenery

One time, I started to talk to myself in French about immigrants.
Usually, though, I just listen to music and quietly sing along.

If I'm driving alone for a long time at night, I sometimes start to cry when I listen to a sad song. I guess that's my emotional catharsis.
Don't worry -- I shed tears like a man!

I keep my satellite radio tuned to silence.
Actually I do not have one.
I am deaf. So all the action iis in my head.
The longer it goes, the more boring it gets.
So I am a pretty observant driver.
But I stop every two hours to exercise
and relieve boredom.
